Dr. Klara Volaric completed Ph.D. in nationalism and migration at the Department of International relations, Politics and History, Loughborough University, UK. Her research interests revolve around migration and nationalism and their intersection, concretely nation-building, everyday nationalism, migration management, border controls, migrant agency, implementation of migration laws - specifically those related to visa regimes, residence permits, citizenship requirements, and labour policies. Her study area is the Balkans and Turkey .
